The photo was taken shortly after Garrett Hartley kicked the game-winning field goal in overtime against the Minnesota Vikings, sending the Saints to the Super Bowl for the very first time in franchise history. The kick ended a sudden-death overtime contest that had been all knotted-up at 28 at the end of regulation.
With the victory, the New Orleans Saints advanced to the Super Bowl, where they prevailed over the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 31-17.
