NOPD Confiscating Guns in New Orleans

Video of the National Guard and NOPD (New Orleans Police Department) illegally confiscating people's guns prior to Hurricane Katrina's landfall.  The NRA sued the NOPD and the city of New Orleans over the incident and won.  New Orleans Police have a history of violating the civil rights of the very people they're supposed to be protecting.

The confiscation of firearms belonging to American citizens by the military and local police force to this day remains an unprecedented act of police and government corruption.  Several books have been written about the seizure, including "The Great New Orleans Gun Grab".
